I think Amazon should have given this more thought & made up a name for their device. I feel so sorry for anyone called Alexa. We have one in school & you can imagine the grief she gets.

I cannot emphasize enough how sh**** Amazon is to people named Alexa or Alexis. Having someone whisper your name in their house for fear of waking up their All-Seeing Eye is such trash.
